A session of the Industrial Forum is scheduled to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 10 October 2014, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria. The objectives sought by the Forum are: deepening the interaction with the competent NATO and EU Agencies, expanding the partnership relations, and maintaining a dialogue between the institutions of the state and the industry and the Research & Development (R&D) community concerned with defence. Two papers will also be presented to those attending the Industrial Forum session: Vision: Bulgaria in NATO and in European Defence 2020 and National Programme: Bulgaria in NATO and in European Defence 2020 (NPD2020).
Among those invited to participate in the Forum’s session are the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, the General Managers of the NATO Support Agency (NSPA) and the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), and representatives of the European Defence Agency (EDA) and the European Space Agency (ESA).
In support of the Forum, an industrial day is scheduled for 9 October 2014, during which experts from the abovementioned international organisations will introduce the representatives of the Bulgarian industry and the R&D community to the available options and approaches to participation in the implementation of joint projects.
The event will provide Bulgarian companies with an opportunity to present their activities to the representatives of the NATO and EU Agencies by setting up information stands (with advertising posters, leaflets, etc.). The companies who wish to avail themselves of this opportunity need to notify Hemus Consult EOOD of their interest to participate in the exhibition at telephone number +359 888 831955 or e-mail email@example.com by 30 September 2014. For companies wishing to promote their activities through information stands, a fee of BGN 400 applies.
